Shawnee Public Schools recently hosted a Tribal Consultation in partnership with Tecumseh Public Schools and McLoud Public Schools, bringing together Indian Education programs and local tribal leaders for a meaningful day of connection and collaboration.

Upon return from spring break, elementary students began using secure ID cards to scan on and off when they board and exit the bus. The software, Tyler Drive from Tyler Technologies, is a cutting-edge system that ensures that parents and guardians have instant access to their child’s bus activity through the My Ride K-12 app. With the app, families can see exactly when and where their child scans on and off of the bus, providing peace of mind and up-to-the-minute information.
